Perfect for the newest trend of mini-desserts!!! At a recent dinner party, everyone got three desserts - chocolate mousse, coconut cream and bananas foster - pretty ordinary desserts by themselves. But three individual desserts lined up at the place setting made for a WOW presentation!! Since these glasses curve in near the bottom, you will need demitasse spoons with a narrow bowl. I found some locally and the rest on an Amazon site.

These are sized to hold dessert 'shots' similar in size to those served by Seasons 52 and Applebee's restaurants. You will need to get some tiny spoons to go with.

I was disappointed when I opened the box to see these glasses. This item is really a glass designed more for a shot of liquor than a shot of ice cream! I find the picture to be very misleading. There is no way that this glass could contain what is showing in the picture. It is just too small. It might be able to hold a couple of teaspoons of whipped cream. A few good points about the seller. The item was well packaged; the item was delivered within a very short time frame. This is the reason for the two stars instead of one. I can't recommend this glass because of its size, and the fact that I think the picture is misleading. This was a definite error on the seller's part. Shipping weight makes the glass a little over 5oz. I feel that the picture makes it look more like 10 oz. An error on my part was taking the picture at face value and estimating what I thought the glass would contain. In the future, I will be more careful in my estimations. If you are looking for a glass for a shot of liquor, then this is one item you should consider, but not for ice cream.
