I fill each with nuts or candies which look so nice on the pantry shelf. Then when either of us wants a little "sweet", they are easy to see and indulge. Could be used for any variety of items and seem to have a good seal to keep moisture out.

i like these jars. they are a nice size and look nice sitting out on a counter. but they don't seal completely. if you are using them for sugar, candy, dog treats (small ones!) these are fine but if you grind coffee and put it in them it will not stay fresh. but i'd still recommend them, just not for a complete seal.
