Well, the mug is as described. It's heavy and good looking.
However, it arrived wrapped in newspaper in a box of styrofoam peanuts (I hate styrofoam peanuts!) and it looked dirty. I suspected I might have received a used mug but it had the manufacturer's sticker on the bottom.
So, after rinsing it in hot water twice and using a bit of dish soap the third time I had it under hot water, it looked like new.
So, great product, but there's something gross about receiving something you're going to put in your mouth just wrapped in a newspaper.
