I bought a 4-pack of the tumbler size at a discount store here in town. They are heavy, shaped to fit the hand, large enough to admit an entire hand for cleaning purposes, and have no little ridges or creases to trap grunge. I am buying more of these because they are so good.

I love those glasses. The plain design matches with any dishes on the table. The surface of the glass is smooth and clean. You can use them for everything - from orange juice to soda to wine to beer. They are also heavy and strong. I purchased them several months ago, but they are so well-made that they still look like brand new after repeated dishwasher abuses for months. If you're looking for basic glasses for everyday use, I'd surely recommend those.

I really looked forward to receiving these glasses. Due to poor packing, however, they arrived with three already broken to pieces. There was no warning on the box that the contents were fragile, and there weren't enough "peanuts" packed with them to protect them. I returned them in the same box -- and condition-- in which they arrived. I included the obligatory reason why I was returning them. I haven't heard from Macy's since. What a collosal disappointment! What a waste of money! It's a shame that Amazon was a part of this. I guess I'll never know how well these glasses would have served our family.

these are fairly good quality, thick walled, sturdy, attractive glasses. I wish all libbey glasses were this sturdy.
